Enigmatic Faces and Places
The exhibition title refers to the unknown, enigmatic places and dimensions in which their works are set. At the centre of Fink’s (*1987, lives and works in Potsdam) creations are young people in search of an inner and outer localisation. Vellekoop (*1984, lives and works in Hamburg), on the other hand, refrains from depicting the human body, but shows traces of human existence in his interiors and urban and natural landscapes in the form of architecture, lamps or everyday objects.
